Newhouse School/Whitman Dual Programs

In today’s global, fast-paced and complex business environment, organizations need their future leaders to have a mix of business and communication skills and knowledge. To acquire this combination, you may elect to enroll in the dual major program with the Whitman School and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Through this powerful dual program, you’ll gain a better understanding of the interconnectedness of business and communications. The program will equip you with the essential skills necessary to become an effective business leader and communicator, giving you an edge in a competitive job market.

Students must fulfill the degree requirements for both schools and complete a minimum of 150 credits. With AP and/or transfer credit, students typically still graduate in four years. After completing the program, students receive a bachelor’s degree (one diploma) awarded by both schools. The Whitman School is the home college for dually enrolled students.
