Join us for a conversation with Dr. Vanessa Bohns, department chair and Braunstein Family Professor of Organizational Behavior at Cornell University's ILR School. Bohns is a social psychologist who studies social influence, compliance, consent and why it is so hard to ask for things and to say no. Her research has been published in leading journals in psychology, management and law, and has been covered by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, The Economist and NPR. Her writing has also appeared in Harvard Business Review.

Bohns is the author of "You Have More Influence Than You Think" and, most recently, "Should I Say Something?: The Science of What to Share... and What to Keep to Yourself". She will share insights from her work on how to decide when to speak up and when to hold back.
