Fall Application Deadlines
Priority Deadline: November 15
Early Deadline: January 15

*International students are strongly encouraged to apply by November or January to give time to work through submitting financial documentation (proof of funding for one year). Once proof of funding is approved, the I-20 is issued, and a VISA appointment can be scheduled.
Spring Application Deadlines
Priority Deadline: October 1 (for international students) **
Regular Deadline: November 1 (for domestic students)
*We do not offer a Spring intake for our MS Marketing program.
**We highly recommend international students to apply as soon as possible for our Spring intake. We typically begin processing Spring applications in the middle of September. This gives students the best opportunity to receive a decision and navigate the VISA process.
Application Deadlines and Review Process
Complete applications* must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on the day of the deadline. It is always beneficial to apply before the posted deadline.
*A complete application includes all supplemental materials, including official test score reports.
To be considered for admission, an applicant must possess at a minimum:
- Minimum total score for TOEFL iBT is 100, IELTS Academic 7.0, Duolingo English Test 130
- Preferred speaking score for TOEFL is 23, IELTS, 7.0
- Institution code for TOEFL is 2823, department code is 02 if required
IELTS: Please contact the test center directly where you took the test and request that your official test scores be sent electronically using the IELTS system. All IELTS test centers worldwide can send scores electronically to our institution.

*The GMAT or GRE is not required for the current admission cycle. Applicants who submit a score may improve their chances of being admitted, as well as increase their opportunity for merit-based scholarships.
No formula is employed in admission decision making. Candidates are evaluated individually, with special consideration given to professional experience and accomplishments, including potential for career growth and advancement. Other factors considered are the candidate's prior academic success, the GMAT exam and communication skills, as evidenced in the application essay.

Status Communication
Whitman's Graduate Programs Office will email confirmation when the application has been received. Please allow 10 business days for delivery of the decision letter. Decisions cannot be communicated by phone or fax.
Incomplete Applications
We will inform you via email if an application is incomplete (e.g., missing test scores, transcripts, essays, or other items). An application cannot be reviewed until all required documents have been received. Any application that remains incomplete after the final deadline will be withdrawn.
