Transformation 2030: Ascending to Excellence in Business Education at Whitman is the five-year strategic plan to
enhance the Whitman student experience and elevate the school’s ranking to become a Top 25 undergraduate business
program by 2030. Being in the Top 25 is a tangible milestone that is a part of a larger goal to deliver world-class
educational outcomes for Whitman students.
As part of this initiative, the Whitman School is focusing on improvements in several key areas: elevating the academic student experience, expanding experiential learning opportunities and pedagogy, enhancing career programs and placement outcomes, promoting Whitman's research output and reputation as an industry thought leader, scaling student recruitment and retention efforts, brand management and modernizing the Whitman learning environment and facilities.

WHITMAN SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT DEAN’S FUND
This fund provides critical resources that help improve the student experience, support experiential learning and career readiness opportunities, and more. Every dollar in support of the Dean's Fund is put to work in real-time to support students and gives Whitman leadership the flexibility to apply funding to high-priority areas for immediate impact.
WHITMAN CAREER SERVICES
FUND
The career services fund supports the Whitman Career Center, an essential student-facing department responsible for preparing students for their careers, including advising, resume assistance, mentorship, internships and job placement, interview preparation, networking and more. The ability to adequately develop and place our students into careers accounts for 33% of the school's overall ranking.
WHITMAN OPPORTUNITY FUND
Established through donor generosity, this fund provides students who have exhibited financial need with scholarship resources that allow them to participate in internships and student activities as well as receive emergency support when needed. This fund allows students to achieve a fuller student experience, regardless of financial means.
WHITMAN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING FUND
This fund is used to support annual experiential learning opportunities for students at the Whitman School. These opportunities include short-term study away, case competitions, simulations and career immersion trips as well as student programming through the Goodman IMPRESS Program, which focuses on student leadership building, mental health resources, and student success.
