Welcome to the vibrant world of student engagement at the Whitman School of Management. As you pursue your academic goals, you’ll find an incredible variety of student-run clubs and organizations that bring together students who share common passions, entrepreneurial interests and career ambitions.

 

Whether you’re drawn to marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, consulting or cultural exploration, Whitman’s student organizations offer more than just extracurricular opportunities — they provide hands-on experiences, mentorship, professional development and lifelong connections. Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPSI)

 

Alpha Kappa Psi is the world’s largest and oldest professional business fraternity, open to students of all majors. AKPSI is widely recognized for developing principled business leaders through networking, service and professional growth opportunities.

 

 
Beta Alpha Psi (BAP)

 

Beta Alpha Psi is a professional service fraternity for students majoring in accounting, finance or information systems. Members stay on top of current issues in their fields and gain access to networking opportunities with professionals and alumni.

Delta Sigma Pi

 

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity designed to foster the study of business, strengthen connections between students and industry, and uphold strong commercial ethics. The Xi Tau Chapter at Syracuse University was founded in 2001 and includes about 100 active members from Whitman and economics majors across campus.

 

 

 
Franklin Supply Chain Club

 

Also known as the CSCMP Syracuse University Roundtable, this club is open to anyone curious about the world of supply chain management. Through field trips, guest speakers and industry discussions, members gain real-world exposure to the logistics and challenges that shape the field.

 

 
Investment Club

 

Open to students of all majors, the Investment Club meets weekly to manage a real investment portfolio of over $100,000. Members discuss market trends, stocks, ETFs, commodities and more, learning firsthand how to analyze and manage assets.

 

 

 

National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)

 

NABA supports minority students pursuing careers in accounting, finance, IT and consulting. The organization focuses on professional development, leadership training and shaping future leaders in business.

Pulp Marketing Club

 

Pulp Marketing Club is Whitman’s hub for creativity, branding and marketing innovation. The club offers exclusive access to career-building events, industry speakers and networking opportunities. Through Project Pulp, members get to combine their personal passions with marketing strategies and receive official Whitman recognition.

 

 

 

Private Equity Club

 

PESU introduces students to the dynamic world of private equity through hands-on learning, industry insights, and professional connections. The club motivates members by facilitating access to experienced professionals—both virtually and in person—and equips them with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in the field. PESU also supports students in pursuing competitive internships and full-time roles in private equity. Membership is open to all undergraduate students at Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF.

Real Estate Club

 

The Real Estate Club connects students with professionals in the industry and offers learning experiences through site visits and events. Topics covered include development, finance, real estate law, management and sales.

 

 
Retail Club

 

The Retail Club is perfect for students passionate about the world of retail. It helps members build their networks, explore retail careers and take part in meaningful community service projects.

 

 

 

The Entrepreneurship Club

 

The Entrepreneurship Club empowers students to turn ideas into action. Through guest speakers, workshops, pitch events and collaborations with local startups, members gain insight into launching and sustaining businesses. Regardless of major, students are welcome to explore entrepreneurship in a supportive, idea-driven environment.

WWiB empowers women at the Whitman School of Management to become confident, successful leaders in business. Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, the organization fosters dialogue, builds connections with industry professionals, and helps members develop the skills needed to thrive in an evolving business world.
