The Whitman School is pleased to announce that this year’s Whitman Day event on Thursday, April 24, 2025, will feature a breakfast and speaker on campus with Bruce Mosler, chairman of global brokerage at Cushman & Wakefield, headquartered in New York City.

Cushman & Wakefield is a global commercial real estate services leader and among the world's largest commercial real estate services firms, with revenues of $9.5 billion in 2023. The company operates 400 offices in 60 countries, has approximately 52,000 employees and manages about 5,100 million square feet of commercial space.

The breakfast and Whitman Day Speaker will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Whitman School’s Flaum Grand Hall. Moderating the event will be another legend in real estate, Whitman alumnus Harold A. Fetner ’83, P’13, P’20, president and CEO of Fetner Properties Inc., which provides luxury high-rise apartment living in New York City.

During the event, Fetner will discuss with Mosler how Cushman & Wakefield has strategically selected its building locations and what types of housing it provides, as well as how technology plays a vital role in the current real estate market. Mosler will also offer advice to Whitman students eager to learn from his success and discuss the steps necessary to further enhance innovation both in his field and the overall business arena.

“I’m always excited to be on campus, so I’m delighted that I’ll be at the school celebrating Whitman Day with my friend Bruce Mosler. We’ll be moderating a conversation about my two favorite topics—Syracuse University and real estate. What could be better?” says Fetner.

Whitman Day is an annual event to celebrate—both in-person and virtually—how the Whitman School of Management has positively impacted its thriving community of students, faculty, alumni and supporters, as well as encourage all to continue to help the school prepare future leaders in an ever-changing business environment.

In-person regional celebrations will also be held in Washington D.C, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City and San Francisco.
