Lisa Quinn Knych has taught Law & Public Policy at Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management since January of 1991. She has practiced law since 1986, and her work experience includes working as an associate attorney for two Upstate New York law firms, as in-house counsel to a savings bank, and as an assistant bar examiner for New York State’s Board of Law Examiners.

Professor Knych teaches the legal environment of business course, commercial transactions, and the iMBA law course. She has also worked as a grader for the New York State Bar Exam, and she was formerly a senior assistant bar examiner.
Professor Knych's fields of interest are real property and commercial transactions. Knych was awarded the 2007 Meredith Teaching Recognition Award, which recognizes excellence in teaching. She is also the recipient of the 2003 Whitman Professor of the Year award, sponsored by Beta Gamma Sigma, and she was named a Martin J. Whitman Teaching Fellow for 2010 and 2011.
