Olivia Smith

Olivia Smith joined the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in 2024, bringing a strong commitment to student success and a background in human resources. Her experience recruiting students and managing student programs fueled her passion for guiding young professionals as they launch their careers. Olivia holds a Bachelor's degree in human resources and a Master's degree in business administration, both from SUNY Oswego.

In her role at Whitman, Olivia provides one-on-one career advising, supports students' participation in career exploration trips and assists with professional development workshops. She also oversees the administration of the internship requirement, utilizing Salesforce for efficient data management. Olivia's favorite moments so far have been empowering students to achieve their full potential and supporting them as they reach their goals. She also contributes to the campus community by teaching a section of First-Year Seminar and advising a student organization.

When she's not in the office, Olivia enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts, golfing and gardening. A dedicated fan of Syracuse and Buffalo sports, she can often be found cheering on her favorite teams. Go Orange, Go Bills!
