Kara Primrose

Kara Primrose is director of career services at Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. She has worked for the Whitman School’s Career Services department since 2008 where she has had provided student career counseling and professional development support for graduate and undergraduate students, as well as cultivated corporate relationships to support full-time and internship placement for students. Most recently, she served as interim director. Prior to joining the Whitman Career Center, Primrose spent more than a decade working in admissions at Hobart and William Smith Colleges where she had direct impact on increasing the quality and quantity of student enrollment from the four recruiting territories she strategically managed. As associate director, she led the admissions staff and faculty in creating and implementing all admissions visitation and scholarship programs. Primrose holds a bachelor of arts degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner and a member of the MBA Career Services and Employer Alliance (MBACSEA) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
