Smith began her career with IBM as a consultant within the global business services consulting division. From there, she joined the professional recruitment industry and has over seven years of experience recruiting for various positions across different industry sectors for companies across the United States. She had success managing a high performing recruitment office in Boston and as an individual contributor was named to the prestigious million-dollar billing club. Smith holds a bachelor of science degree in business with a minor in psychology from Virginia Tech.
