Thad Malley started his career in finance as a an arbitrage trader, trading commodities such as oil, gold, silver, etc. on various exchanges. He then moved into investment management, where over the last decade he has worked as a senior portfolio manager and research analyst. He began teaching economics at Columbia College in Syracuse. He received his Master of Arts in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo and stayed on to further study finance, receiving his Advanced Certificate in Financial Economics. He also received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
