At Whitman we are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to participate fully in educational, career, and experiential programs without financial barriers. To facilitate this promise, the Whitman Opportunity Fund was established to provide students who have exhibited financial need with scholarship resources that allow them to participate in internships, access emergency support and enroll in student activities. The impact of this support is immeasurable as students are able to focus on building essential skills, gaining life and career experience and enjoying a well-rounded educational experience. In 2024 and 2025, 60+ students were supported with more than $230,000 in aid.
