Immersion Trips

Go where business happens.

Some things you can only learn by being there. Whitman’s immersion trips take you to cities and countries where industries are thriving, so you can see how business works in real markets, meet the people behind it and earn academic credit along the way.

These short-term, faculty-led courses combine classroom learning with company visits, professional networking, and cultural experiences. You will study business in context, whether that is entertainment in Los Angeles, fintech in Miami, or emerging markets in East Asia, Latin America or East Africa.

Every trip is different. What they share: real access, real professionals and experiences you cannot replicate on campus.
