Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management and PAR Technology Launch Partnership to Power Student Leadership
The multi-year sponsorship will enhance Whitman's Leadership Living Learning Community (LLC), connecting first-year students with industry leaders.
The Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PAR) have launched a new multi-year partnership to support Whitman's Leadership LLC, expanding opportunities for first-year business students to develop leadership skills, build professional connections and engage with industry from the moment they arrive on campus.
Beginning this fall, the program will become the Whitman Leadership Living Learning Community powered by PAR Technology Corporation. The sponsorship reflects PAR's growing investment in Central New York and Whitman's commitment to connecting students with innovative companies that are shaping the future of business.

"When students live and learn alongside peers who share their interests and ambitions, they develop relationships that strengthen their confidence, support their academic success and prepare them to lead. PAR's investment allows us to make that experience even stronger."
The partnership comes as PAR continues to expand its presence in the region. For Whitman, aligning with a fast-growing, Central New York-based technology company gives students early exposure to one of the top technology companies while creating meaningful opportunities to connect with industry leaders throughout their Whitman experience.

A Distinctive First-Year Experience
One of Syracuse University’s signature Living Learning Communities, the Whitman Leadership LLC powered by PAR Tech brings together 50 to 60 incoming first-year students each year who share an interest in business leadership. Members live in a newly renovated residence hall, enroll in shared academic courses and take part in programming built around leadership development, mentorship and career exploration—including team-building experiences, faculty dinners, mentor workshops and site visits with local companies.
The Whitman Leadership LLC consistently attracts many of the school's highest-achieving incoming students. The 2025-26 group of 58 students carried an average GPA of 3.92 and an average SAT score of 1382.
As the presenting sponsor, PAR will host the program’s annual company site visit, maintain regular touchpoints with Whitman students and faculty and have partnership access to the Whitman Career Center for recruitment and programming opportunities. This investment not only reinforces PAR’s commitment to building a strong local and regional workforce, but it also enables its leadership to build relationships with high-achieving Whitman students from the first day they step on campus.
