James Minas is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Business Analytics. He has over ten years of experience developing and teaching business analytics courses in topics including: optimization modelling, machine learning, decision analysis, simulation modelling, and regression analysis. His research interest is the use of advanced analytics methods to solve complex business problems. Application areas he has worked on include disaster preparedness/response, supply chain resilience, contract design, taxation, and healthcare systems. His work has been published in outlets such as Annals of Operations Research, Decision Support Systems, and European Journal of Operational Research.
