Senior Resource Managers Course

The Senior Resource Managers Program discusses current issues in resource management, and helps participants to better understand the changing resource management environment of the Army and Department of Defense (DoD). The course provides a venue for senior resource managers to discuss issues and share solutions and develop solutions to resource management issues.

Purpose:

To discuss current issues in resource management, to better understand the changing resource management environment of the Army and Department of Defense (DoD), to provide a venue for senior resource managers to discuss issues and share solutions and to develop solutions to resource management issues.

 

 

Method of Instruction:

The course is comprised of approximately 25-30 students per class and is divided into six general learning objectives accomplished through lectures, guest speakers, and a group project. Guest speakers address the real-time application of skills and challenges facing the Army and DoD and group projects are presented to a senior resource manager.  Upon completion of the course, 40 CPEs are awarded—including two hours of ethics training.

 

Target Audience:

 

Civilian:

GS-14 to 15         

 

Military: 

Officer (O-5 to O-6) Enlisted (E-8 to E-9)
*Exceptions to target audience allowed on a case-by-case basis.

 

Nomination Process:

Submit nominations through command channels as follows:

Civilian applicants submit to Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA) (usarmy.belvoir.chra-accma.mbx.comptroller-fc@army.mil)

Military applicants submit to Ms. Kimberly Scott (kimberly.d.scott37.civ@army.mil)\

 

Include:

  • Letter of Endorsement
  • SF 182 
  • Civilians—CP 11 Resume Form 
  • Military—Officer Record Brief / Enlisted Record Brief

 

Funding:

DA centrally funds tuition, per diem and travel costs for CP 11 careerists and BA 36 Officers and NCOs.
