I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Before joining Syracuse University, I was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and a researcher at the Johnson Weiner Center for Real Estate at Concordia University.
I graduated from Baruch College with a Ph.D. in Finance in 2019. Before that, I received a Master's Degree in Financial Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2014 and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Chinese Academy of Financial Development at the Central University of Finance and Economics in 2012.
I conduct academic research on banking, financial technology, corporate social responsibility, systemic risk, and behavioral finance. My research papers have been accepted by or are under revision in leading academic journals including the Journal of Financial Quantitative and Analysis and Review of Finance.
I have presented my research at prestigious international academic conferences, central banks, universities, and governments such as the American Finance Association, Midwest Finance Association, Northern Finance Association, China International Conference in Finance, Chinese Finance Annual Meeting, Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Bank of Israel report on the results of its research. His thesis won the Best Conference Paper Award (Fintech) at the 2021 China International Risk Forum, and the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award at the Fordham University International Doctoral Symposium.
