Dimitri P. Madouros is the President of World Seas Shipping Inc. where he has spent his entire career initiating and growing a series of successful start-ups in the Shipping, Textile, Specialty Oil, Community Banking, and Technology sectors.
Madouros developed the only independent agency in the ELF Aquitaine network and established Elf’s first permanent sales presence in the U.S. for marine lubricating oils. Separately, he was one of the four founders of Interbank of New York, a de novo New York State Commercial Bank and served as a Director and as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
Madouros also helped found and develop Pixlog.com, a Brazilian social networking site, and was an associate founder of the World Sports Alliance (WSA) an International Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) which used sports as a catalyst to implement social programs for at-risk youths worldwide in support of the U.N. Millennium Development Goals.
He received his BA with departmental honors from Hamilton College and his MBA, Beta Gamma Sigma, from St. John’s University. He was in the United States Army and served with the Infantry in Vietnam.
