Pamela Young

Pamela Young is the Principal Product Manager / Principal Customer Success Manager at Walmart Global Technology Services. This role helps our internal customers solve business challenges such as rapidly releasing products/services to the market. Prior to this role, Pamela was the Senior Customer Solutions Manager at AWS/ Amazon Web Services specializing in the FinServ and FinTech industries. In that role she drives success with cloud technology investments for Fortune 500 firms. Prior to joining AWS, she was in a Customer Success Director at Oracle and a Senior Principal Consultant in the consultancy team for over 14 years, working on key accounts that included Dun and Bradstreet and US Steel. She has led global Oracle ERP/Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain and Financial implementations in Taiwan, Japan, Germany, the UK and across the US for a leading semiconductor materials firm (Entegris) as a Program Manager and Project Lead managing teams globally and 3rd party firms.

She earned an MBA from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah, a Master's Program certificate from NYU in Strategy, and a Bachelor's degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She concluded 8 years of volunteering as the VP of Membership for the Project Management Institute (PMI), NYC Chapter (PMINYC), and previously as the VP of Membership for PMI Southern New England Chapter (SNEC). She currently teaches 2 MBA classes at Syracuse: IT and eCommerce and Strategy, and formerly was an Adjunct Professor of Project Management at Syracuse.

Her activities include advocating for animal welfare, Accessibility, People with Disabilities (PwD), and Families@Disabilities programs.
