Todd Moss earned a Ph.D. in business administration with an emphasis in strategy and entrepreneurship from Texas Tech University in 2011. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering and an MBA, all from Brigham Young University. His research focuses on the intersections of entrepreneurship and social responsibility/ sustainability. His work has appeared in outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, among others. He also serves on the editorial boards of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and the Journal of Business Venturing. Prior to his career in academia, he worked at Ford Motor Company in various product strategy and engineering assignments. He and his wife, Jenifer, are the joyful parents of three sons and five daughters.
Professor Moss’s research interests focus on the intersections of entrepreneurship, innovation, and social responsibility. His most recent work addresses crowdfunding and the various types of value creation pursued by micro-enterprises. He research has appeared in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, among others.
