First, Welcome to Whitman!
Pre-Arrival Checklist
There are a number of additional steps to take to ensure your journey begins smoothly this fall. Items like activating your NetID, finalizing housing (resources included below), submitting immunizations through the patient portal and more. The full list can be viewed by visiting the Graduate Checklist website.
International students can find their pre-arrival information here. Other helpful information like airport transportation, check-in and orientation will all be on this page.
Submit Final, Official Degree-Bearing Transcripts
Before the end of your first semester of study at Syracuse University, you must submit an official transcript which bears the appropriate signatures and seal of the institution where you earned your bachelor’s degree. The transcript must be received by Syracuse University in a sealed envelope directly from the issuing institution OR via a secure delivery service such as Parchment or National Clearinghouse.
Transcripts can be mailed to:

Housing Resources
Syracuse University does not offer guaranteed housing for graduate students. However, the institution provides ample resources via the Office of Off-Campus and Commuter Services to aid in your search. You are welcome to join and consult the LinkedIn group on your own should you be looking for a roommate. As an additional resource, you can access the Off Campus Housing portal in your search.
Additionally, the Housing office as well as our Department of Public Safety hosted two virtual events. Click here for access to those video recordings.
Use the link below to access our housing and transportation guide for students and visitors to secure safe, affordable and convenient housing.
