Future Leaders Program
The Future Leaders Program is a seven-month high school-to-college pipeline program hosted by the Whitman School of Management’s faculty, staff and students. The key focus is to engage and assist high school students from economically disadvantaged communities from the Syracuse area who want to explore higher education with an emphasis on business.
Students meet one Saturday a month to participate in a comprehensive curriculum of college SAT preparation, professional development, and key leadership skill building. The students will be paired with Whitman business student mentors to assist them through the college preparation, entrepreneurship, and/or professional development journey. The students will be exposed to a variety of professional speakers, Whitman alumni and select faculty members.
The Whitman School collaborates with external community partners: The YMCA, Say Yes to Education, and The Image Initiative, Inc.® Program recruiters also include the Boys and Girls Club of Syracuse and The YMCA Teen Achievers Program.
There is no participation fee for high school students.
