New Student Information

Welcome to the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University!

 

We’re so glad you’ve decided to join Syracuse University and are now a part of the Whitman School family. 

 

We want to make sure you have all the paperwork and requirements for a seamless transition into the Whitman School. 

 

Part of your transition to college life and the Whitman community includes selecting courses for your first semester, as well as some assignments related to the Goodman IMPRESS Program. You will receive information from Assistant Dean Lindsay Quilty at your Syracuse University email address one to two times per month, May through September, with more information about these items. All updates will also be available on this webpage.

 


Registration Information


All incoming students received a survey in May related to fall course registration. The advising team used this information to begin the course registration process. In June, the advisor led a Zoom webinar to discuss the first-year registration process and advising at Whitman. If you were unable to attend, you can access a recording of the session here. Below is a document answering many of the questions frequently asked during the session.

Students will be expected to complete their course schedule between Aug. 1 and Aug. 5. All incoming students should have received detailed information via email on July 26 from their advisors. The advising team will also host two Zoom webinars to help with the process. We strongly recommend all students attend one session. Click one of the session dates below to RSVP:
