Welcome to the Whitman School of Management!
Congratulations and welcome—we’re so glad you’re here. This page is your go-to resource all summer long as you prepare for your first semester. We keep it updated as new information becomes available, so check back often.
As you get started, the most important thing is to activate your NetID and check your Syracuse email frequently. You’ll hear from your academic advisor each week about important items to prepare for your first semester and your fall course schedule.

| July 6–7 | MySlice and DegreeWorks access opens for new students | Log in, explore your requirements and check for holds |
| Mid-July | Advisors build partial schedules based on survey responses | Respond promptly if your advisor reaches out with questions |
| July 28–31 | Registration webinars (4 sessions, same content) | Attend one session to walk through MySlice step-by-step |
| Aug. 3 | Self-registration opens at 9 a.m. EDT | Log in to MySlice and enroll in your remaining courses—aim for 17 credits |
| Aug. 3–7 | Advisor drop-in hours, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. EDT daily | Log into OrangeSuccess to join the virtual drop-in waiting room |
| Aug. 17-19 | New Student Move-In | You’ll receive a specific date and time for move-in in July |

Registration and Advising Webinars
Advisors will host a series of webinars this summer to discuss the process of finalizing fall course schedules. We encourage all students to attend one of these sessions to feel confident throughout the registration process. Recordings will be posted here within 48 hours after each session.
