Advising Appointments

Students can schedule an appointment directly with an advisor by viewing their schedules below. When scheduling your appointment, you will need to select the location from the options listed (Virtual or In-person).

Drop-In Advising

Drop-in advising is available Monday through Friday from 2-4 p.m. to all undergraduate and graduate students. Drop-in advising is available both in-person and virtually to be as accessible as possible.

• For in-person, sign in at the front desk of Suite 215.
• To meet virtually, follow these steps below to sign into the virtual queue and an advisor will send you a Zoom link.

How to Sign In for Virtual Drop-In Advising

• Log into MySlice
• Navigate to the “Student Resources” tile or “Advising”
• Click on the link to “Orange Success”
• Once logged into Orange Success, select the “Appointments” option on the left side
• Once on the Appointments page, click on the “Schedule an Appointment” on the top right of the screen. This will bring you to a page where you can schedule an appointment or sign-in for drop-in advising.
• Select "advising" for the first question.
• In the "Service" drop down, scroll to the Whitman section and select one of the Drop-In options (In-person or virtual, undergraduate).
• Click “View Drop-in Times” and click the button to add yourself to the first available queue.
• When it is your turn, an advisor will email you a link to their Zoom waiting room. If you do not click the Zoom link within a few minutes of receipt, the advisor will need to move to the next student in the queue to limit the wait time.
