The increased prominence of real estate has led to the growing demand for specialized skills in the analysis of real estate decisions, development, investments and asset management. Through comprehensive real estate courses and significant interaction with industry professionals, our real estate program — part of the Whitman School's Finance Department — provides you with the knowledge and skills required to compete successfully in the real estate, while contributing to the professional and scholarly advancement of the industry.
Our real estate program includes diverse exposure to industry experts and applications through speaking events, field trips, case studies, supporting Syracuse University programs and an annual real estate symposium discussing the latest industry trends.
Research
Our faculty members are honored for their innovative research in management and excellence in teaching within the field. They are dedicated to the development of both theory and practice, carrying out this dedication through conducting research in the areas of strategy, organization theory, organizational behavior, business law, ethics and public policy, and human resource management—all of which focus on the human role in organizational success.
