Live, Online Classes
Online business students participate in live, face-to-face classes, hosted via Zoom, to promote collaboration and networking. All live classes are recorded for later review and include features such as breakout rooms for group projects and adjustable video speed for reviewing lectures.
Asynchronous Learning
On their own schedules, students complete weekly self-paced coursework that features high-quality videos, interactive content, quizzes, guest lectures and case studies.
Customizable Mobile (app) and Online Platforms
Personalize the online platform with features like dark mode, searchable video transcripts and adjustable video speed.

Syracuse University’s online business graduate programs feature the same curriculum content as the full-time, on-campus programs, and graduates earn the same Syracuse University diploma. Classes offered four evenings a week, and all coursework and live classes are accessible via our mobile app.
Residencies
During the program, MBA students may choose to participate in optional in-person residencies focused on timely topics shaping the evolving business landscape.
These hands-on, weekend conference-style experiences offer opportunities to explore emerging business trends, participate in interactive workshops and connect with classmates, faculty and prominent business leaders.

Leah Flask joined the Whitman School of Management in 2025 as an associate director, focused on building recruitment partnerships with employers for the graduate student population. She is also the designated career advisor for Whitman’s online MBA and master’s students.
Leah joined Syracuse University in 2018 and previously held roles focused on university-industry partnerships, most recently as assistant director of business & internship development with a New York state-funded center for advanced technology under the Office of Research. Prior to Syracuse University, Leah comes with additional experience in recruitment/talent acquisition and business development.
Leah holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. John’s University. Outside of work, she enjoys playing golf, hiking and boating. She is a CNY native and resides in Syracuse with her husband and golden retriever, Maggie.
