Student-driven Build Local Consulting Volunteer Program–Business students volunteer 50 hours to consult small women and minority-owned businesses in Syracuse working with Mirza Tihic, Postdoctoral Researcher, Whitman EEE Department.


Fall 23–Community Outreach Program–Future Leaders Program – Syracuse City High School 10-12th: Grade leadership development and college prep program. Providing development opportunities to underserved youth in Syracuse and surrounding areas.  Whitman Student volunteer opportunities to mentor and facilitate development programs.

The Multicultural and First-Generation Student and Parent Resource Groups support underrepresented students and thier parents in navigating the world of higher education.

The Whitman team contributes to the University level to create the DEI&A five-year strategic plan at Syracuse University.
