Student Clubs and Organizations
Joining a campus club or organization can add meaningful content to your resume by allowing you to gain valuable skills and start you on a path to obtain leadership experience. All employers hope to see a leadership section on your resume!
A robust skills section is essential on a resume. If you want ideas or need help obtaining new skills and certifications, the WIRE Initiative can help with that.
The student employment program creates opportunities for students to develop transferable skills that are in high demand by employers while also earning a wage. Those who work on campus also develop a deeper connection to the campus community and the University’s Shared Competencies.
